A tee has three openings, one inlet and two outlets; "Or a chemical pipe fitting with two inlets and one outlet, with T and Y shapes, equal diameter nozzles, and reduced diameter nozzles, used at the confluence of three identical or different pipelines.". The main function of a tee is to change the direction of the fluid.

Non metallic materials such as PVC, UPVC, PPR, etc. According to the connection method, it can be divided into two types: snap type and threaded connection. According to shape, it can be divided into T-shaped and herringbone shaped.
